This 12 module on-line AGL Qualification training course plus Assessment has been adapted from our Instructor led three (3) day training course which delivers the practical aspects of the theory that is covered during all basic AGL training
The course is for Airside Operations, Air Traffic Controllers and Airport Regulators that introduces AGL and develops an understanding of its role in supporting the Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Ground Traffic Management of aircraft as defined within ICAO Annex 14 and Doc 9830. This course introduces Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) and the associated Systems that interface with the AGL/AFL infrastructure to support the Ground Traffic Management capabilities required in the support of operational activity.

Prerequisites
The prerequisites include:
- Advance knowledge of AGL/AFL standards & principles and philosophy learnt from our AGL Basic training course or its equivalent is mandatory
- a working knowlcdge of English is required, the medium of instruction for standard training sessions
Qualification
An optional CBTA/IQF Level “Knowledge” multi-choice examination is available to all personnel who attend and successfully completes the course.

Who should attend
Personnel such as Regulators, Airside Operations Managers and Supervisors and Air Traffic Control staff involved in the management or execution of Airside Operations activities where direct interfacing with AGL occurs. This course is also suitable for staff developing competencies who require an understanding of the concepts of Ground Traffic Management and A-CDM.
